An interesting plant and I believe it still to be the only yellow elwesii; three narrow, erect leaves have a splash of yellow at their tips; the spathe and inner marking are a good yellow colour, whereas the pedicel and ovary have a touch more green; reputed to be difficult to grow; time will tell; the yellow colouring is more intense if grown in sun
