artjuschenkoae

The name artjuschenkoae was once considered to be a synonym for galanthus transcaucasicus, but the two plants are entirely different in their leaf vernation; transcaucasicus has supervolute vernation (one leaf rolled around the other), whereas artjuschenkoae has applanate vernation (leaves flat together)

A charming plant, small in stature, hardy in the cold, but appreciating some shelter from our wet winters
